October Updates and Pictures from Past Meetings

Thank you to everyone that came to our meetings so far! If you have not done so already, remember to turn in your SAFCS application and dues ($75--$60 for AAFCS and $15 for SAFCS) as soon as possible. On Sunday, October 16, we will be helping out with the Newman Center's Fall Festival from 1-7 P.M. You can work in time increments if you'd like. Contact Maria Velazquez for more information: mlvelazquez@eiu.edu. Also, on October 21 at 11:00 A.M., we will be having an informal lunch with the two teenaged girls (aged 14 and 16) from Havana, IL. We will have an open discussion about what college is like. Some of us will be taking the teens on a campus tour of EIU around 9:30 A.M. that same day. If you are interested in helping out with this event, please contact Dr. Betz as soon as possible at: aebetz@eiu.edu. Our next meeting will be on Wednesday, October 26 at 12-1 P.M. in Klehm Hall 1418. Hope to see you all there!

We are having our first meeting on September 15th from 11am-1pm in Klehm Hall 1418. If the weather permits, we will have a cookout in Klehm's courtyard. So, come learn more about our upcoming events and learn more about our organization!
